Abstract

Purpose: This purpose of this study to provide basic data for interventional development for prevention and management of stroke by confirming the prevalence of stroke and related factors in adults over 30 years of age using data from the 2018 National Health and Nutrition Survey(KNHANES ¥¶-3).

Method: This study is a secondary analysis study using raw data from the 7th year (2018) of the KNHANES ¥¶-3. It is a confirmative descriptive correlation study.

Result: The risk factors for stroke prevalence are age, self-assessment health, hypertension diagnosis, hyperlipidemia diagnosis, myocardial infarction diagnosis, myocardial infarction diagnosis, angina diagnosis, diabetes diagnosis, depression diagnosis, activity limitation, walking for a week, chronic disease Family history, parental hypertension, mother's stroke. Drinking and smoking are not related factors.

Conclusion: In order to control factors related to stroke prevalence, active intervention is needed for related disease. In order to manage an individual's self-rated health and depression, and in the case of family history of chronic disease, parents' hypertension, and mother's stroke, it is necessary to perform selective manage is needed.
